The TeacherDISC Profile

Teaching is Constant Adaptation.
Most Teachers Are Doing it Without a Map.

The TeacherDISC Profile translates behavioral insight directly into the classroom, staffroom, and wider school environment. Used by schools, learning teams, and universities, TeacherDISC supports teacher self-awareness, communication, collaboration, leadership development, and wellbeing.

TeacherDISC Profile FAQs

How long does the TeacherDISC assessment take to complete?

The TeacherDISC assessment takes 10–12 minutes to complete online. An individualized 40-page TeacherDISC Profile Report is generated immediately after the assessment is completed.

Individuals can complete the assessment themselves and get enormous value out of reviewing their own report. However, to get the most out of the process and investment, we recommend a debrief with an accredited Team8 People DISC Practitioner, consultant or coach, human resources professional, or your school’s own DISC-accredited staff member to get the most value out of the experience

No. TeacherDISC uses the same DISC framework, but the report content, applied strategies, and language are tailored specifically to the work teachers actually do, including classroom management, differentiating instruction, parent and colleague communication, and staff team dynamics. The strategies are written by people who understand the classroom and the wider school environment, not just the DISC framework.

Yes. The TeacherDISC can be used with teachers and faculty across a whole school staff, while the Team8 DISC Profile is more appropriate for administration and leadership staff. School-wide DISC profiling unlocks the Team Dynamic Report at no additional cost and gives the leadership team a shared behavioral language to use in staff meetings, faculty development, and mentoring.

Both. TeacherDISC works for K-12 teachers and faculty in primary and secondary education, and it can also be used in teacher education programs at universities and colleges to prepare future teachers for the classroom and teaching workforce. The classroom looks different across those contexts, but the behavioral dynamics still translate.
